Ancient and modern.

My Husband and I took our family out for lunch today, a tradition we have kept for many years. There are eleven of us now and we had a great time, with the children having a visit and a present from Santa Claus. This was the view of Newcastle from the hotel window. The ancient being the Castle, St Nicholas' Cathedral and the High Level Bridge, and the modern is St James' Park football ground on the skyline.
