Sunrise over Snowy Rooftops

We were up early this morning to go to Brechin to the Santa Express train. The sun was just rising over the houses in my street and I loved it.

As we drove to Brechin, the temp dropped to -5.5 degrees. And while a temperature like that isn't unheard of in Aberdeen, I've never seen it that low in the daylight hours, mostly in the evening/night. Brrrr!

The steam train was fab, if incredibly cold! The Santa was so lifelike, naturally fat, a real grey beard and long grey hair. Thankfully the last one I'll have to meet (been the 4th in 7 days!) - the next one will come in when I'm sound asleep :)
