Lake ........

....... Wairarapa, NZ


The Wairarapa is approximately an hour from Wellington.
And that's where I spent today - with Panda, her husband and my husband.

Morning coffee was at Featherston, then Greytown for shopping followed by Martinborough for a late lunch.

Returning home via Featherston we stopped at the Lake Domain of Lake Wairarapa. It was extremely windy and very cold, although the late afternoon sun provided a little warmth.

This lake is part of the Moana Wetlands Park, which also includes Lake Onoke and the publicly owned reserves around them - an area over 9000 hectares.
