Vacation Day 1: Toronto

We stopped in Toronto today, on the first leg our our grand adventure. After checking into our hotel, we headed downtown to visit with my partner's niece, then hopped on a streetcar to enjoy a luxurious dinner & great conversation with a couple of dear friends.

I felt very much at home in Toronto today - after living here for 10 years, it felt familiar and exciting, a second home. This shot was taken while waking down Yonge Street. I love the diversity of the big city!

Tomorrow our wake up call comes at 5 am - time to get some rest!
