Three chums

Cara, Bruce and Brodie enjoyed a fabulous long walk including a trek around Loch n'Eilean today. The adults were fortified by a coffee and scone before they started out and a picnic in the rain en route but the dogs were totally content with their doggy treats and bonios because they were having so much fun. We were only able to get them to pose for us at the very end of the four hour walk because they were pretty tired by this stage and were content to stay still with the promise of a biscuit treat. You can see from their coats that they had been in and out of the water frequently. Despite the slightly damp weather the loch looked very picturesque with so much fresh young growth on the trees and bushes and the mist lying low and masking the tops of the surrounding hills simply added to the atmosphere.
