Reighton Gap

Despite the fact that B and I have been together sevenish years, our parents have never met. It's not through lack of trying I hasten to add; but we have been thwarted over the years by illness and inclement weather.

Today, none of those things got in the way and we all made it to Thirsk for a lovely lunch which had no awkward silences or clashing personalities. B and I are both very lucky indeed in our families; their love, kindness, humour and importantly their private and public support of our relationship.

We parted with promises that our folks will meet again soon, hopefully in either of their home towns.


This picture isn't really related to the day except that we stopped here on the way back to Bridlington to admire the view and by a few bits at the wonderful Reighton Nurseries.
