A cheerful daisy
The house is so quiet now that the boys have gone back to school - even Murdoch keeps looking up the stairs in a forlorn manner expecting to hear them come bounding down for breakfast. My fridge has not emptied this morning (usually on holiday a dozen eggs get consumed every morning with toast, some home made fruit smoothie followed by lattes) - they can eat for Africa, it is a science study all of its own to understand where all those calories go.
A quiet day at home for me, catching up on chores.
I must mention that one of Luke's fellow school rugby team mates - a lad of 16 who was the only year 11 lad to play in the 1st XV - was selected to play in the England U16 match on Saturday versus Scotland U16. Not only was this lad selected as captain of the England team but he was awarded man of the match (and England beat Scotland 32-22). His team mates and the school are very proud of him - I have no doubt he will play for the main England team one day.
