Showing my age

This will always be the NatWest Tower to me rather than Tower 42. I remember it going up, being the first skyscraper in the City of London, opening in 1980 (although officially not until 1981), being blown up in the Bishopsgate bombing of 1993, being repaired, renamed, and sold off. Now named Tower 42 in honour of its 42 floors, it still stands tall and proud. Not pretty, but very much part of City history and deserving of a blip, I felt.
