Stretching our legs

The nice thing about back-blipping is you get to look back on happy memories...

We had a long drive up to north-of-Kelso for our week away with the family. Having toyed with the idea of getting up super early and stopping off somewhere interesting on the way up, we decided to go for a lie in and a more direct journey. I think it was the right call - the journey was quite long enough (and the week away quite entertaining enough) without adding in extra stops. We did, however, stop briefly in Kelso itself to stock up on some essential supplies (alcohol and peanuts, mostly!) and to let the kids have a bit of a run around by the river.
