open road

on the return drive home an emergency vehicle went speeding by in the left lane, stopped and took up two lanes as it pulled off to the side. i was able to slow down and stop in time, unfortunately some of the cars behind me werent. i saw a semi slam into the back of a truck not five feet from my drivers side window! as the semi pulled off to the side of the road, it was literally inches from my side mirror.

fortunately no one was hurt, and another car and i that weren't harmed were asked to pull around the pile up, so for several miles there was no one on the road but me. this prompted me to roll down the window and turn up the music.
