Remains of the cherry blossom..

The cherry blossoms throughout Kirkcaldy are fading fast now. This photo is of one that, although noticeably fading, is in more beautiful shape than most.

I really like cherry blossom, but they seem to bloom for such a very short time in these parts.

Nevertheless, the good thing from my point of view about their fading, is that I associate it with the coming of warmer weather. However, we shall soon see if I am correct or simply overly optimistic.
