Creake Abbey

was founded in 1206 by wealthy local benefactors who turned it into a hospital able to accommodate "thirteen Christian paupers". Around 1506 the place was decimated by plague.

Of several difficult compositions I chose this one. Should I have cloned out the telegraph wires I wonder?
