When the Scottish population heard we were returning, looks like they decided to get the hell out! :-))

We didn't have to be out the hotel till midday so we didn't rush this morning and enjoyed some breakfast and coffee.

Stopped on the way up at Tebay (it's the law, well in this house anyway :-) and bought some lovely lamb in the farm shop for dinner.

After yesterday's experience of the M25 I was so glad we where heading north on the M74 rather than south. That queue went on for miles. Felt sorry for the poor sods further up the road who were cruising along quite happily totally unaware that their progress was about to be rudely halted a little further down the road.

So home at last, some unpacking done, washing machine on, dinner cooked, glass of wine and the joy of climbing into my own bed.

It's great to get away but I tell you, it's damn good to get back home again! :-))
