Pampas no more

Until yesterday this space was occupied by a flourishing (some in the house might suggest over-flourishing) bunch of pampas grass. However, with dedication, strength and a tow-rope tied to the back of the car, the thing was severed from its berth for the last three decades. Apparently it's a sign of house with swingers. How come I only find out about that now. I doubt these delicate wee plants will attract much more than aphids
