The Lawn Needs Cutting said the Hungry Black Bird

Dean popped around earlier today, he was bored and was looking for something to do. I suggested we went out with the cameras to take some bird photographs because he wants to start to do the bird freaks challenge, and suggested that rather than take him home for his camera gear, we take my cameras.

Saltfleet Haven was the place of choice. You can always guarantee getting at least half a dozen different bird photographs. It did not disappoint, redhank, brent geese, shelducks, curlews, oyster catchers, teal ducks, pied wagtails and for me, though Dean was not lucky enough to capture it, a skylark.

As we pulled onto the drive, I took this shot of a beautiful Black Bird with his beak full of works and other tasty treats. My first thought, "I really must get him indoors to cut the lawn".
