All is Calm. All is Bright.

Fantastic Christmas service at church this morning. "All is calm, all is bright." Describes our day. It's been pouring rain this afternoon. We aren't sure if the wood stove in the fireplace is safe to use (haven't ever tried in the 9.5 years we've lived here but that's another story) so I lit some Christmas candles. The Boy and Girly are on Christmas break. Mr. Odd Days is going to work Monday to wrap up some projects and then he'll be off for 2 weeks. I'm not taking any extra time off but between my part-time schedule, the days the office is closed for the holidays, and the general lack of worrying about getting everyone off to school, I'll feel like I'm having a break too. No school and no homework always makes life calmer.
