The Darlington House

My step-mom and I went to three potential wedding venues today: The Darlington House in La Jolla, Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula, and The Bahia in San Diego.

It was a long day of driving and by the time I got home I was totally on wedding venue overload. I was completely EXHAUSTED.

It came down to the winery and the house . . . and in the end the house, a mansion built in the 1920s with beautiful courtyards and rooms filled with lovely antiques, won out!

I'm really excited - this place definitely provides a vintage and romantic feel. Under this arch is where R and I will say our vows and be married!

This week, I will sign the contract and send in our deposit. Exciting!!
