Volcano Under Construction

Bob received several science experiment kits from his Grandpa Paul yesterday. The good news is that they are really cool. The bad news is that they are meant for older kids. The volcano kit instructs us that one has to make the paper mache mountain around a plastic bottle first and allow it to dry overnight. Then paint it. Then make it erupt. That is a long time to wait for a 4 year old boy.

I am pretty sure we'll bypass the painting step tomorrow and go straight for the eruption. Hopefully I will have a great volcanic blip for you tomorrow.

We only received about 5 inches of powdery snow last night. Just enough to make the world beautiful without much disruption. We were quite lucky.
