My singing birds

Tonight was a rehearsal for a choir I run for LBT women in South Wales. This is a pic while they are on a break from singing.
My feelings ebb and flow with choir but tonight I enjoyed it very much. They sounded good, some of them paid attention and a few even answered when I spoke to them! Ah, they aren't that bad really, it's just that they are a casual choir and I was brought up in strict choral and orchestral rehearsals so it's a big adjustment for me.
When you lead choirs every week is an unpredictable beast - numbers, skill and volume vary wildly and my job is to work with what I get. Sometimes I do it well and sometimes I don't. Tonight I did ok, I think. :)
