Rhododendron

Emergency blip. I have done nothing of any interest today. Back to school for the children. Getting up early came as a bit of a shock to everyone!

I planted this rhododendron about 4 years ago, because I love it's creamy yellow colour. I also love the fact that the buds are a quite dark pink colour, right up until they burst open. I like a plant that keeps an air of mystery.
