Zongzi

I had a day up in Shenzhen today with some friends and of course to eat Peking Duck.

While we were waiting to be seated, the restaurant had a lovely display of zongzi. These are glutinous rice dumplings made with red bean paste wrapped in bamboo leaves and usually steamed. They are eaten at Dragon Boat Festival which is coming up beginning of June. They're actually quite tasty and we've had our fair share of them.

Was pretty tired when I came home and after cooking dinner, hit the sack. I think I'm growing old!
