Above Medellin on the Cable Car

Today we started at Pedro Nel Gomez's house - he painted huge murals and is a famous Colombian architect! Beautiful weather to look around the incredible house. the neighbourhood was so pretty with painted tiles on the house. We then walked down to the Botanical Gardens and amongst other things saw a huge iguana and lots of tortoises. Medellin has made a huge effort to create public spaces and I was impressed with the number of educational activities for young people and the environmental exhibitions. But my favourite part of the day was taking to cable car up above Medellin and towards park Arvi. The views were spectacular and I loved being above the city!
