shortest day

I just realized today is the shortest day of the year and from now on all days will be longer. I had to stay home and do some work form here because there are hardly any trains running due to the amount of snow everywhere. It gave me an opportunity to post an early blip.

This view, from my study window, will change very much in the coming years. I shall probably refer to it (and add links leading to it) in the future. It is all part of the 'Spoorzone', a spacial planning scheme north of Tilburg Central Station. Which, btw, is the only station in The Netherlands that can only be approached from one side of the rail tracks, the south.
