A tiny glimpse....

Today while waiting in the car, I saw this tiny knot hole in a fence.

The tiny glimpse of the garden behind was tantalising.
The leaves of the shrub that I could see were a vibrant, lively green hidden behind a bland and plain facade.

There was such promise in that hint of the garden.....
a promise of life and fulfilment,
sunshine and warmth,
richness and colour.

I have noticed a chink of light in my world,
a hint of colour creeping into my monotone life
I will tend it carefully
and wait.......
