Hawthorn Blossom

Whilst walking the dogs down Lin Dyke today, which is RSPB Fairburn Ings Land, I could see that most of the hawthorn blossom isn't out yet but this one bush was fully in bloom. The smell always reminds me of childhood days when the the hedgerow blossom was so strongly scented and my granny used to douse me in au de cologne to stop the gnats biting me, how I hated that smell and still do.
