Opening of Church Community Cafe

After quite a while in the planning stages, today we opened the Community Cafe in St. Mary's Community Church. Actually, it is a joint venture with other churches in the area. We have been waiting for our new Kitchen to be finished and inspected. Of course, it is early days and we expect that it will be a few weeks before it really gets known.

So, along with Mum's and Tots, Food Bank, Advice Centre and now the Cafe we feel we have reached the place where we can offer various services for the Community as well as a simple 'listening ear'.

Naturally, all this is accomplished with a fairly small group of volunteers and a lot of prayer, but we feel it is well worth the effort.
