Ribwort - Plantago lanceolata

This is the time of year when this plant has its moment of glory. At other times it's a bit of a nuisance, especially in lawns as you can mow it down but it always survives. We don't seem to get the rounder leafed Hoary Plantain down here in Barnstaple.
