A splash of yellow

This was blooming brightly by the roadside as we came out of the Talbot Arms where we had had an excellent lunch.
I was there with my brother and his wife - it was their first visit to me since Robin's funeral. I was very pleased to find that my brother is looking remarkably well and really recovered from recent surgery. We had a nice day and it was good that they were able to come.
It is now a glorious evening and I am sure I ought to go out and find a more interesting photograph!
