Town and Country

Today we went into Bishop’s Stortford to meet up with my daughter and granddaughter for lunch and to do a little shopping. After this since the weather was fine although slightly cloudy we decided to take our cameras for a walk along the bank of the River Stort, returning through Castle Gardens. At this time of year the gardens are very pleasant, with the trees and flowers at their best, with plenty of wildlife visible too. Today’s picture is of a squirrel, by the Mound in Castle Gardens; just to prove there is both town and country present there.
