New toy!

Our old laptop died several weeks ago, for the second and final time. The first time was just over a year ago. That time we had it mended and also managed to hire someone to successfully retrieve all our data (no I hadn't backed it up despite my son telling me to do so numerous times! ) so after it was fixed I didn't keep anything on the hard drive and backed up my external hard drive so at least this time when it failed I didn't lose anything.

Now we have its replacement and boy have things moved on. So now I have to learn how to use windows 8.1 and a touch screen. Very different from windows 7 or Vista so a big learning curve for an elderly dinosaur! Oh well I'm sure I'll get the hang of it in the end.
