new growth

Gym, then freezer defrosting and loads of other jobs around the house in the morning. Must have been too much for me - I fell asleep early afternoon!

Went to the woods at White Moss later to see if the bluebells were flowering. I took a few photos but will try again when there's more blue and less green.

Passengers were getting off a coach in the main car park - from a distance they looked like Japanese tourists. As I was walking along the narrow riverside path they were all heading towards me so I stood by the river as they filed past. Noticed the light catching these leaves and took a few shots. As the last person approached he said "Thank you. That's the last of the group ......... unless I've lost anyone".

Had to pass the ice cream van on the way back to the car. Sun was shining so I couldn't resist one.
