A quick walk to North America...

... the remains of a remote farm above Langsett Reservoir!
All part of Roy's convalescence, though he is already back doing some decorating. My foot decided it was a bit too far, but otherwise it was a lovely late afternoon walk ( apart from the fact that the cafe was closed when we finished! ).
Apparently it was called North America as it was a long way from anywhere... The farm was abandoned in the early twentieth century, and the ruins were used for target practice during the Second World War.
