A rose.... In April !!!!

I had a lovely close up of Tinks giving me a hug but then was surprised to see this rose when I looked out the kitchen window!.. The rose itself is not brilliant condition but it beat Tinks in the blip choice.

As our Mexican topic comes to a close, this afternoon we held a 'Mexican fiesta'. They tried tortillas, dips, popcorn (used by the Aztecs as jewellery/decoration apparently) and churros (i.e doughnuts!!). They also had fun trying to smash open their piñatas they had made. An exciting and enjoyable afternoon had by the children.
