Guardian
Oh for a guardian angel
To watch over us in life
As well as in death.
To Chislet for a wander and a very good pub lunch today, as part of getting Tom out and about regularly. Although he's slowly getting better physically, he's very down, which is so unlike him, and is exhausted by every outing. It's a worry.
Chislet village has a rather large church, St Mary the Virgin, and some unspoilt old houses (although the village is spoilt by the car park in its central square and quite a lot of local traffic). The churchyard is rather wonderful, extending from around the church down a hill alongside a path. I learnt that it's the only church in use in Kent that has a central tower which is not a crossing point for side transepts, and is originally Norman.
Yesterday's late entry is jewel, a shot I'm really pleased with as it shows the capabilities of my new camera. Well, I think it does.
