Stella and the millionaire

Mo was out at Beavers when I got home, and the kids off doing their various things. But at least Stella was pleased to see me.

When Andy drifted into the kitchen demanding food, I discovered he'd become a millionaire. Well, a word millionaire, anyway - having devoured that many as part of his school work.

The Accelerated Reader programme sometimes feels like it's turned reading into a competitive sport...which is maybe why it works so well for Andy.
