Pods

I first photographed these seed pods in situ but couldn't adequately separate them from their background. I finally resorted to picking them and bringing them indoors to photograph under more controlled conditions.

They are the seed pods of one of the larger Campanulas - probably Campanula medium (Canterbury Bells). They self-seeded in my border about 3 years ago and have continued to come up each year.
