Purple Rain

A day off for me (Annie), attending a school governor training course in Financial Management. It was nice to be more local, and a sunny drive to the course location was lovely.

We finished the course at 3:30, so I made use of the early finish by returning to Dockey Wood in Ashridge, where Chris and I had visited on Monday. The light was more muted this time, as the afternoon had become overcast and drizzly - but the bluebells were out in even more force. The purple carpet was just stunning, and I stood and soaked it in.
