First day of summer

Today was a public holiday in Iceland, it is the first day of summer. The weather was so-so, but lots of activities were happening all over the place. One of the popular singers was giving a free concert at the swimming pool, and there was an open house at the gardening school where they sold vegetables and flowers, and had lots of unusual flower arrangements (this sounds very strange, but it was all very interesting!).

We also went to a neighbouring town where we visited an art gallery and bought some knitted caps, mine has horses and M´s has sheep (I think they will be the subject of a future blip).
