Reading Group

Mr S has an exam on Monday (for his OU Honours Degree) and has already informed house management that he will be studying all weekend.

I was worried he would miss all the fun, and so I moved Thursday night Housework to Wednesday instead (I am a VERY considerate wife!).

But I nearly missed our inaugural meeting of our new Reading Group !

After household (and ballet pickup) was done, I escaped to a neighbour's house. The book we are reading will be 'The Invention of Wings' by Sue Monk Kidd( a 35 year period story about a girl who is given a slave for her 11th birthday), followed by 'Northanger Abbey' a re-write of the Jane Austen novel by Val McDermid (set in Edinburgh).

I am not sure which one I want to read most !
