Off Centre

I threw myself into the gardening first thing in order to get the turf laid before the rain and my mother came.

I'd marked out the paths and shifted soil and raked yesterday so it was just a case of spreading some top soil, laying the turf, cutting it in and getting it flat. I managed to finish in just over 3 hours before Richard went to work. I even managed a shower and a some lunch before Mum turned up just after 1pm. Not bad for me.

I spent a couple of hours on the sofa drinking tea and feeling like I probably deserved it. It's been a long time since I've done that.

Mum tried to read my autism assessment report but she kept talking, and by the time she left 3 hours later she still hadn't read it.
