I can't resist...

...blipping these red-bellied woodpeckers when one gets within reach of my lens. They are so gosh-darn photogenic, and this one was so proud of his catch, that he just had to be my blip for today.

BACK BLIP: Almost forgot to say that I just backblipped an unfurling interrupted fern plant that I photographed in Holden Arboretum yesterday. I nearly froze my fingers, toes, and tush getting that shot, so please take a look. Couldn't believe it is almost the end of April with a feels-like temperature of only 29 degrees.
