Spent the morning on the USS Midway, a decommissioned aircraft carrier now functioning as a museum moored in San Diego harbour. It's absolutely massive, and despite understanding the mathematics of how such an enormous chunk of metal can stay afloat, it still beggars belief that it actually does.
