Chillin' by the Chiminea

We don't have a log fire. We don't even have a fireplace! (The wonders of modern central heating).

But what we do have is a chiminea in the garden. The last few weeks we've sat outside a few times with the fire roaring to keep us warm, enjoying the fresh air.

I bought special heat logs for it, and as you can see they are even too hot for Archie! He lay a few feet behind the chiminea enjoying the subtle flow of hot air across the paving slabs.

There is something quite relaxing about sitting watching a fire roar away to itself……
