An unexpected Gift

Today we had our Chinese Luncheon with the Orange County Chinese Cultural Club. I told everyone that I would bring a new guest, a young Chinese Scientist to the luncheon. We all gathered at the restaurant and ordered the food for a large table, and when we finished my friend showed up apologizing for not being able to join us and brought me this gift. An Akcam glass bowl, hand-made in Turkey. How could she possibly know that this was my dream vacation and on my 'bucket list'. This is an omen for me that I have to go!!!!! to Istanbul.
