Broken Heart?

Krista's riding lesson was cancelled tonight, so we went to the beach instead. It was awesome - the sky was spectacular, the tide was out, there were fewer people than usual. As we walked under the pier, we saw what looked like a bunch of pale seaweed wrapped around a post. When we got closer, we realized that it was a wedding dress! Several other people stopped to talk with us as we were taking photos, and asked what we thought the story was. Speculations ranged from a bride left broken hearted at the altar - to a bride who'd changed her mind - to a tradition of leaving an important piece of clothing on a beach from someone who had died at sea. Whatever the story, I never expected to see a wedding dress on a beach.
We decided to do a same but different blip like Soozy and CameraColin sometimes do. Thanks for the idea!
I had a great few hours wandering with Krista, and both of us took tons of photos. It was a bit chilly so we thought hot chocolate would warm us up, but we changed our minds and had ice cream when we saw the selection of flavours.
