golden tones

We have two lovely golden trees in the back garden. One is a huge Golden Ash (which is really in the yard next door where our daughter lives) and the second is a golden Robinia which hasn't turned as much as the ash. It is interesting how nature knows when to do certain things depending on length of day light, temperature etc. I find the natural world fascinating. The ash is very big and must be quite old while the robinia is only about 5 years.
