Snow Day

I had to dig the car out of the courtyard this morning ....... that was fun!

By the time I got to the Centre it had started snowing again.
The only reason I went to the shops was to get a present for SWMBO. I knew what I was going to get so I was able to go, buy and get the hell out of the way for a quiet coffee where I was able to snap the snow on the curved roof (which is the same stuff as the Eden Project.

While waiting for SWMBO I snapped the decorattions.

Later on in the afternoon I had to go out and that meant digging the car out again.
The council will grit the main roads again and again and again but they will not grit the private housing estates until the snow has gone (and they have gritted all the council estates). They have even removed one of the grit boxes from the street and replaced the other with one half the size .......... and not filled it.

This could be a long winter.
