How many more

Houses do we need. Where I live it is surrounded by green belt and therefore housing companies are buying up any land in my town that they can get their hands on. This plot is very small and falls sharply away at the back down into the river. Will they put up affordable housing to enable the young to get on the property ladder, well the answer is no as they will be big four and five bedroomed detached houses that the young cannot afford.

Why can't these companies invest in our young instead of trying to make as much money as they can as fast as they can.
