Licenced to sell game

I popped back to Hayfield to see if there was any filming of "The Village" still in progress but it looks as though they have finished there for now. I was following a tip off that there was to be a boxing ring set up on the cricket pitch. Instead there were preparations under way for cricket at the weekend. So I must have missed that opportunity.

The row of houses that have two real shops at each end still have other shop signs over the houses in between.

The grocers really do sell Rabbit, Hare, Pheasant, Partridge etc. and when filming was in progress there were whole sides of beef hanging outside the doors.

The Village series 2 will be on the BBC later in the year.
