Calling All Pollinators...

These are the flowers of the Coral Honeysuckle Vine, Lonicera sempervirens. It's bright orange tubular flowers are very popular with bees, hummers, and butterflies. Coral Honeysuckle is native to the Southeastern United States and grows with great enthusiasm in my back yard. During late summer and into early fall, the vine produces berries which are eaten by hungry birds. Yummm!
